Fuel Efficiency Test

Our efficiency test is designed to minimize the number of gallons of oil you use to save money. And, we verify your efficiency test with our Federal Heating tag. It includes your efficiency test readings, type of system, nozzle size, work performed, the date, and the name of our service technician.

Includes: Smoke test CO2 reading * Stack temperature reading * Draft reading * Calculated Combustion Efficiency Report

Yearly Heating System Cleaning and Tune-up

Federal Heating's own fully-trained and Massachusetts licensed oil burner technicians will give your heating system a total check-up, tune-up and cleaning. This is the most thorough annual check-up available today! It is designed to give you reliable heat and to reduce your fuel consumption.

Includes: Vacuum and remove soot from smoke pipe and all accessible internal parts of boiler or furnace * Adjust draft regulator * Examine combustion chamber * Safety-test master control * Lubricate circulator motors and bearings (forced hot water system) * Lubricate and check blower motor assembly belts, bearings and other moving parts * Replace air filter * Replace oil filter * Replace nozzle * Adjust electrodes for proper setting * Lubricate burner motor * Set proper oil pump pressure * Drain low-water cut-off and verify safety
