You can beat the cost of energy -

Just when everyone
(including all the so-called experts) thought that we were
headed for record high prices for both natural gas and home
heating oil this coming winter, the price dropped as fast
as it had gone up!
No one expected that to happen.
Hopefully, it reminded us of the most basic lesson of
economics: demand determines price. More specifically, you
and I determine price.
As the price of gasoline went up earlier this year, we began
driving fewer miles. And the price of gas went down. Small,
fuel-efficient cars became instantly popular, and because
of the demand, consumers paid premium prices for certain models.
We discovered that we can take control if we put our minds
to it.
Well before the “energy crisis” of the early 1970s,
we were talking to our customers about conservation and we’ve
never stopped.
It’s true. New oilheat boiler technology delivers enormous
cost savings. Combine these savings with automatic thermostat
settings and other cost-saving measures and you’re on
the right track.
